It’s been a long time since I used my website. I created it just to be an online portfolio where prospective employers could see what experience I had. It was a static site; unchanging for months at a time, only updating it when I had a new project or piece of work to add.
I also had a blog I didn’t use often. It was my own little corner of the internet where I could ramble on about things I felt the need to discuss. I created it because I felt like I had a clever name for a site and it was a missed opportunity if I didn’t. Turns out the name wasn’t that clever and it didn’t inspire me to write on there.
Then, one day, it occurred to me. I did want a blog to write on and I did want a modern looking site to display my work. Why should those two things remain separate? Why should I try and manage two online spaces as opposed to just one?
That, kids, is the story of why I made this site.
My new site, which is where you are now, will be the one place that I display my work. Whether it is video games, RPG supplements, published fiction, screenplays, or anything else. It will all be on here, hopefully in a manner which is easy to read, and navigate. I will also be doing a regular blog on here. This post is in fact the first on the site and of the blog. Expect many weird, and wonderful topics in the future. I intend to post every Friday so you can always check back then and expect something new, (after 12pm though).
This site will also be the best place to contact me. If you feel like you need to talk to me, or you want to discuss hiring me, then please get in touch using the contact form.
All that’s left to say is may this be the first post of many, and welcome to my new website.
