Welcome to the first of a new series of blog posts I’m going to try out. This series will take an in-depth look at board games I’ve played, and enjoyed. Like most reviews I do, these ones will focus on the core aspects of the experience; how fun it is, how good it looks, how complicated it is, how replay-able it is, and finally if it’s worth forking out cold hard cash for.
I’m a huge fan of board games. I’ve played them for years both at home, and at gamings shops/cafes. I like a wide range of games, and I’m usually happy to try anything new if someone wants to play it. I don’t own many board games, in fact my home collection has only really started to form over the last few years. I am very selective when it comes to buying games as there’s a lot out there, and they aren’t really that cheap. Hopefully you will find this new series interesting, and perhaps you’ll fancy picking up one of these games yourself after reading about it. So without further ado, let’s review a board game.
